Every thread can be tagged with a topic: Building in public, Ask the community, Wins, Feedback wanted, Hiring, or Other. Filter the feed by topic from the sidebar, or browse everything.

New vs. Trending

New is pure chronological. Trending weighs recent engagement — upvotes and comments — more heavily the fresher a thread is, so something genuinely getting attention right now can surface even if it's not the newest post on the feed.

Engaging with a thread

Upvote, comment, or reply directly to a comment. You can tag one of your own startups on a thread you post, and mention another user with @username.

Can I edit or delete my own thread comments?

Yes, any time, from the comment itself.

Do threads affect my Karma?

Yes — posting, and the upvotes/comments you receive back, are part of what Karma tracks. See "How rankings work."
