Community rules & moderation
Snikus is built for founders sharing real progress with a real audience — spam, harassment, and scam content work directly against that.
What's not allowed
- Spam — mass-follow bait, "buy followers"-style phrases, unsolicited promotional links
- Explicit or NSFW content
- Harassment or targeted abuse
- Scam and phishing attempts
- Contact-harvesting in public posts (relaxed inside a Messenger conversation you're already in, since sharing a number there is normal)
How this actually gets caught
A quiet, automatic filter checks everything posted in real time — known spam phrases, contact-harvesting patterns, explicit content — and blocks it before it's ever published, rather than removing it after the fact. This same filter protects content here on official.snikus.com too, so the standard is consistent everywhere.
If your account is restricted
A moderator can restrict an account that breaks these rules. If it happens to you, you'll be notified, and your Account Health page (in Settings on the main app) shows the exact reason — not a vague notice. From that same page you can submit an appeal explaining your side, which goes to a real person for a second look; you'll be notified either way once it's reviewed.
Frequently asked
Can I report a post or user directly?
Not yet as a self-serve button — reach Support directly with a link to what you're flagging, and a person will look into it.
What happens on repeated violations?
Restrictions escalate with a pattern of confirmed violations, visible on your own Account Health page if it applies to you.
